Veronika Stelmakh

Postdoctoral Research Associate - MIT's Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies

Veronika Stelmakh is currently a postdoctoral research associate at MIT's Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies. She is the co-founder and CEO of Mesodyne. Veronika holds a BS in EE from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a MS and a PhD degree in EE from MIT. The focus of her PhD work has been the development of a practical photonic crystal selective emitter for thermophotovoltaic applications, sponsored by the DoE, which resulted in a world record benchtop demonstration. She has (co-)authored 20+ technical articles. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an application engineer in power electronics
