The Engaged Ratepayer

Historically, utility companies have had limited interactions with their customers, and utility customers have had little or no choice in how they procured power. However, new technologies such as rooftop solar, domestic energy storage, and smart meters are creating a generation of educated and engaged ratepayers.

This panel will discuss how this trend of the engaged ratepayer is likely to develop and what that development means for utilities.
