Despite being one of the world’s most ubiquitous commodities, electrical energy is arguably the only commodity with no warehouse.

The geographic limitations and technical challenges of storing electricity have had a major influence in shaping the grid, but we are beginning to see a shift in the current paradigm. This panel will discuss new technological developments, as well as the pathway to large-scale commercialization of grid-connected energy storage.
