Ilan Gur

Dr. Ilan Gur is Founder & Executive Director of Cyclotron Road, an entrepreneurial fellowship program that bridges the gap from scientific concept to product. As an entrepreneur, Gur launched two science-based startups including Seeo, an advanced battery company profitably acquired by Bosch in 2015. He then served as Program Director at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency, ARPA-E. Ilan holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. An ardent advocate for science innovation, he is an advisor to the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation in support of the Moore Inventor Fellowship program, a judge for MIT Technology Review’s TR35 award, and a member of DARPA MTO’s Investor Working Board.
