Claude Nahon

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, Claude Nahon has worked at EDF Group since 1978 where she has held senior manager posts in the areas of production, transportation, and distribution. Since 2003, Claude has been EDF's Senior Vice President of Sustainability and Environment. Previously she was Deputy Director for hydroelectric generation and renewable energy. Committed to the ecological transition of EDF in France and in the world, she is a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) as well as the leadership council of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UNSDSN). Additionally, she serves as a board member of the French Business Environmental Association (EPE) and the Vice-President of the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI).
