is Energy 2.0?
Energy 2.0 represents the tremendous opportunity for technologists, investors and entrepreneurs in energy innovation fueled by the growing global energy challenges. Most experts agree that we are entering a new era where energy issues will be put at the forefront of most agendas. This new attention in energy policy, technology and services innovation, are driven by long-term upward trending energy prices, tightening regulations, growing public sensitivities to environmental and social consequences of energy-related decisions and the continuation of the world's second major wave of global industrialization. Within this context, energy security and growing carbon and environmental concerns will continue to drive interest in new ways to power global economic growth.
